CrossChem opens its first AdBlue® plant in Estonia

CrossChem has opened its first plant in Estonia in partnership with Olerex, the largest fuel station network in Estonia. The plant will be able to produce 25 million litres of AdBlue® per year.

The new plant project started a year ago, and in the twelve months since, new infrastructure has been built, automated production and cargo tank filling equipment has been installed, as well as the staff has been trained and prepared.

“CrossChem has been present in Estonia since 2015, and during this time has built up a wide customer base, which has been served by our Latvian production site. Now we will be able to provide our northern neighbours with even faster deliveries by selling our products produced in Estonia,” says Ričards Andersons, Chairman of the Management Board of CrossChem.

The Estonian plant will very soon be accredited by the VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie), which will certify the high quality of AdBlue® produced by CrossChem in Estonia and provide customers with all the benefits of working with a VDA Accredited AdBlue® manufacturer.

Aqua Marina, the holding company of the Olerex Group, the Estonian petrol station chain, owns both Kool Latvija and the recently acquired Gotika Auto petrol stations in Latvia.  The Group’s turnover last year exceeded half a billion euros.
