CrossChem opens AdBlue® plant in Norway

After six months of intensive work, CrossChem opened its newest AdBlue® and AUS40® plant in Norway in June. The plant is located close to the capital Oslo and almost one million euros have been invested into its construction and infrastructure. The plant will be able to produce 25 million litres of products annually.

Ričards Andersons, Chairman of the Management Board of CrossChem explains that the choice of the site for CrossChem’s first plant in Norway was deliberate, as it sets the course for CrossChem’s future activities in the region. The Company plans to invest several million euros more in the coming years and to develop an extensive production and distribution network in Norway.

“We have finally taken this long-awaited step into the home of the world’s largest AdBlue® manufacturer. CrossChem has been present in Scandinavia for more than 10 years and the recognition we have received from our customers and partners gave us the confidence we needed to make this project a reality. We are very pleased with the professional CrossChem team who, in the difficult geopolitical conditions of the moment, completed the work on time and according to the pre-defined plan,” says Ričards Andersons.

SIA CrossChem is a part of the international CrossChem Group. Its business model centres on three pillars: sustainable products and services; unique proprietary AdBlue® production system for being closer to clients, cutting costs, and increasing competitiveness;
